Pangkep, 16 November 2024 – The Obstetrics and Gynecology Study Program of the Faculty of Medicine, Hasanuddin University in collaboration with the Pangkajene Islands Regency Government successfully held a Community Service at the Ma’rang Health Center, Pangkep Regency. This activity aims to provide understanding to ordinary people about women’s health, especially regarding high-risk pregnancies and cervical cancer screening.
This activity was attended by lecturer staff, obgyn specialist education program students and Obgin FK Unhas educators totaling approximately 124 people. This activity was opened by the Chairman of the Obgyn Department of FK Unhas Prof. Dr. dr. Syahrul Rauf, Sp.OG Subsp. Onk and PJS Regent of Pangkep H. Syahban Sammana, S.H..
This activity consists of Free Ultrasound Examination for pregnant women, VIA Test Examination for Women of Reproductive Age and Health Seminar with the title “High Risk Pregnancy” presented by Dr. Ananda M. Prefitri, Sp.OG Subsp. KFM and “MCH Book Filling” by Dr. dr. Fatmawati Madya, Sp.OG Subsp. FER.
The event was attended by 120 ultrasound patients, 30 VIA test patients and 100 health seminar participants/audiences. The hope conveyed by the PJS Regent of Pangkep H. Syahban Sammana, S.H. that events like this can take place again in the future. Because activities like this are highly anticipated by the community to get excellent service by ob-gyn specialists directly and get a good explanation of pregnancy and MCH books.
