Greetings to all of us. First of all, let us always give thanks to the almighty Allah, because it is thanks to his grace and guidance that the website of the department of obstetrics and gynecology, Hasanuddin University Faculty of Medicine can be organized.
The Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology, Faculty of Medicine, Hasanuddin University currently has 47 staff members with 108 residents. Staff qualifications are 3 professors, 21 doctors, 39 consultants..
Department of obstetrics and gynecology consists of 5 divisions namely Division of Oncology, Urogynecology, Fetomaternal, Endocrine Fertility and Reproduction and Social Gynecological Obstetrics.
In carrying out the tridharma of higher education, in the field of education, the department of obstetrics and gynecology actively conducts skills education lectures, especially in the field of female reproduction in S1, S2, and Sp1 education. In the field of research, the staff carry out research in the department itself and in collaboration with other fields of specialization. In the field of community service, they actively carry out scientific activities in the region, especially those carried out by the division of obstetrics and social gynecology.
With a total of 108 residents, their education is carried out at Hasanuddin university teaching hospital, Wahidin Sudirohusodo hospital as the main teaching hospital and several satellite hospitals in Makassar. The Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology also provides specialized health services to several hospitals in the region in collaboration with the Faculty of Medicine, Hasanuddin University by sending residents to these areas.
In carrying out activities in the department, it is felt that information and data are needed both for research education and community service activities. Therefore, this website is expected to facilitate these activities.
